Travis Steele shined in his first year as head coach for the Musketeers. Being thrown into the terrible situation of having basically no recruits to replenish a team plagued by players leaving to go pro, he bounced back and got three great grad transfers. Although he proved he is by no means a tactical genius, he did prove his ability to be an elite recruiter that could lead to greatness for Xavier Basketball.
